Batman (Christian Bale) is chased by the law after being accused of murdering Harvey Dent. The search, led by his friend Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman), did not get anywhere, but forces the hero to abandon his secret identity. Amid the grief for his love Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal), eight years pass, until Batman is forced to return to active duty when the terrorist leader Bane (Tom Hardy) arrives in Gotham City and bringing chaos destroying everything in front of you.
