Billy "The Kid" McDonnen (Robert De Niro) e Henry "Razor" Sharp (Sylvester Stallone) foram grandes boxeadores que, agora, estão aposentados. However, even having risen in the ring last for decades, they agree to meet in a last struggle to untie the historical confrontation. While preparing for the confrontation, the two will have to confront people from his past: the beautiful Sally (Kim Basinger) and his son BJ (Jon Bernthal).
